FanDuel 7 Day Odds Boost Review

As Mullar’s Army continues to grow I am now up to 14 followers on Twitter!  I’m not sure any of them are real people yet but if you’re in here thank you for your support as a Mullar Head.  I’m going to adjust my philosophy here and start providing more of an overall overview of the FanDuel boost tracking as opposed to going over each individual bet in detail.  It is important to do some due diligence because some of these boosts are barely different from the standard odds.  I’ll be tweeting about the ones I like in case you want to compare notes.

Last night is an example of why it is important to do due diligence.  FanDuel offered Curry and Lillard to each score 25+ points at +200 but Lillard only scored 25+ two times in February in 10 games. Regardless of what Steph has been doing there’s no reason to take this bet unless Giannis was going to remain out with his injury.  Let’s take a look at all the boosts that have been offered so far since 2/29 when I started this tracker.

The bets I have actually made are highlighted with the wins in green and the losses in red.  As you can see I am not doing well here, down $100 after doing the $50 max bet on each selection.  I do think there are true boosts offered on these occasions, so I will continue to bet on them when they come up and see if my luck changes.  And I’ll be tracking them for a few more weeks to get a larger sample size.

You’d be a moron not to trust my judgment on what bets to take, but if you don’t let’s take a look at the boosts overall. If you bet every boost as a max bet ($50) over the last 7 days, you would be down $25.  Hopefully that’s not going to break the bank for any of you (I prefer to think of the Mullar Heads as a classy and affluent bunch), but it’s not encouraging to see that after 7 days and 10 non-voided boosts, the boosts are still losing money.  I can lose money with my own bets, why am I continuing to bet these boosts?

I will continue to track and review the boosts for another few weeks to get more of a gauge on if there is any value here.  The early results of the tracker are not encouraging and I certainly would not recommend blindly betting each boost.  If we continue to pick our spots, I think eventually we will get in the green, so let’s see what happens over the next couple weeks.
